Why local-first matters

Most security stacks pull packets back to a central collector for analysis. That creates three problems: bandwidth amplification, custodial liability over PII, and latency that defeats edge response. Senzorium Nodes invert all three.

• No payload exfiltration. Raw packet bytes never leave the node. Only sanitised perceptual signals — flow summaries, behavioral fingerprints, entropy markers — flow upstream.
• Local response loop. XDP fast-path filtering on the same node that perceives the threat. No round trip to a central decision point.
• Fleet-wide consensus. Aggregated signals from every node feed Senzorium Fusion, where multi-node correlation finds threats that no single sensor could see alone.
